Ft. Bragg has snow day

Who would have thought the Army would take a snow day? I wonder if the 10th Mountain Division in upstate NY takes snow days? Apparently the civilians on post don't do well with snowy roads, particularly in the South.

We had a half an inch of snow in Jacksonville 16 years ago and it shut down the city for four days.

At least our soldier will be able to see the inauguration.

AD,

My cell went off about 1000 hrs with the first picture and didn't stop for an hour. Spec. Jacob said the southern boys were having a blast. He said the Southern boys were having a blast. Of course he was happy as he didn't have to go in!

It snowed about a hundred years ago while I was stationed at Fort Gordon. The same thing happened. Us yankees just hunkered down and did nothing but watch the southern boys make snow angels.

Ha ha. Well, I'd be glad to send you boys some of our snow! An unexpected day off is certainly welcome every now and then, isn't it?

Enjoy your Snow Angels!
