One Percenters? Maybe not.

This from this morning's Washington Post:

"A Pew Research Center poll earlier this month found that 14 percent of Americans considered Iraq the news story of most interest -- less than half the 32 percent hooked on the presidential campaign and barely more than the 11 percent hooked on the raid of a polygamist compound in Texas."

Sad state of affairs, isn't it.
Hope all is well with SPC Mark?
No rumors of future deployments anytime soon?

Mark is well and Joe rumors abound. We will probably know more during the summer as the training cycle evolves.

'Dad, The research only goes to prove what I have believed for most of my adult life. As much as I love this county most of the population have their heads where the sun don't shine and can't see farther than their nose.

Can't wait to read the next installment of "the jump". Jacob made his first jump since coming home this past Wednesday, I got a text message, I'm alive, jump went well.

Doesn't that just warm a parents heart.

Oh, yeah forgot to mention the video. I left a comment over at MM. Just freaking AWESOME, brought tears to my eyes.

Poppa,

I was surprised how fast they put them up in a bird for a jump. I guess they want them to get used to their "normal" lives again at Bragg. He banged up his ankle on his first jump but survived. :)

'Dad,

I was a little surprised myself but like you said they must want to get them back in the swing of things as quickly as possible. I spoke with Jacob over the week end and he pretty much dittoed what Mark said on the post about jumping.

Got a big HOOT on watching some of the other video's also. Specially the SF DANCE.

Rumors abound....wouldn't be the ARMY if they didn't.
